I agree with your views on when compassion becomes a bad thing. For instance, the house I work now has 8 residents, and only one of them can care for herself. This puts enormous responsibility on me not only to care for them, but not allow them to become so dependant on my care that they stop doing for themselves. This has been a recent lesson for me, and sheds yet more light on why a Satanist is perfect for this sort of work. Because most people, when faced with a sweet old woman's face asking them to cover her yet again simply because she seeks the attention her family showers on her (thus spoiling her) will give in. This isn't a kindness, it's crippling her for it encourages her to give up. It takes a Satanist to balance kindness with that strength. I am there to help her with the things they can no longer do for themselves, not to perpetuate a sense of helplessness. Since I've been assigned to this particular house, many of the residents have had some improvment (though alzheimer's is a degenerative disease, there is no cure). An interesting side effect, some of my co-workers have begun to learn from some of my techniques, not realizing that they're implementing aspects of Satanism. (grins)

Hi Caz, thanks for the comments...
I just had the one day in NYC, and had to go and pick up a package from a friend, so I am sure I only scratched the surface of New York. It's an impressive city and quite unlike any other in the world. Taking a cab back to the station along the parkway that runs along the West Side of town, watching the setting sun cast its light on the Empire State Building I could easily see why people fall in love with NYC.

Regards,

Karswell

I've got to differ from you there Mizz Crowley, this is a situation which is not sorting itself out as it should.
While from extreme cases such as I mentioned in the main post, it would seem that the underclass is manoevering itself out of existence, this betrays the truth of the massive problems of low-level deprivation.

One of the biggest problems we have is from the feckless reproducing for short-term gain, and then leaving the state to raise their children. Unlike the USA, the UK welfare system has a set of absolute entitlements, so if you have children- you are entitled to welfare. Period. Even former Prime Minister Tony Blair used to brag that he claimed his child benefits. Can you imagine an American president admitting he claims welfare?

These absolute entitlements mean that for many, having children is more lucrative than working, and leads to some truly bizarre situations such as this workless family who are receiving £170,000 (US$250,000+) in welfare payments a year, just by having a large family Welfare family in £1.2m luxury home.

OK, extreme cases make for bad policies, but there are many, many thousands of similar stories of a less extreme degree. It has got to the state where even relatively well-off middle class home are limiting the size of their families to one or two children (or even no children) because they can't afford to pay for the extra tuition and save for a college fund to give their young the right start in life.

Meanwhile, those in workless families find that having a large family means that they are entitled to a large house and welfare payments which total more than the income of the minimum-wage jobs they are equipped for. Statistically, if you are raised in one of these workless families, the chances of you being workless yourself are pretty high. The underclass is growing, not diminishing.

The kind of interventions necessary are quite simple.

1) Cap all welfare payments to a maximum of the amount earned by a minimum wage job.

2) Cap all welfare payments at the point of entry - i.e. you can't 'move up the system'.

3) A strict time limit of 18 months on all benefits.

4) Phasing out of unemployment benefits altogether in favour of private insurance.

Within a very short space of time, the message would get through that having children with no income is a fast track to poverty - not a bigger house. This would have to be backed up with birth control campaigns - enforced birth control where necessary to protect the welfare of children, such as the three cases mentioned in my original posting.

What form of "social Darwinism"? Since these women, men and children are so dysfunctional and damaged, their lack of effect upon society and lesser chance of substantial contribution to the gene pool seems to take care of itself. I think the welfare system does weaken, but it seems to contribute to these types' continual unfitness for their environment. The problem seems to take care of itself. The only problem remaining is perhaps the future lack of resources to support the unfit.

I agree with your assessment. The rulers of banks keep trying to repackage socialism/communism in various ways to make it acceptable to the public. It all amounts to the same thing, the promise for financial "equality" by allowing the state to control all wealth and property. When you work, you work for the state (everyone) and our saintly distributors of wealth, the state/banks decide how much we get, when we get it, (if anything), can tax us in any way they wish, remove and distribute property, all the way down the board. How ya going to keep em down on the slave farm after they've seen Pairee?? The genie may never go back into the bottle once it is released. I encourage Americans to hold on to our Constitution and pay attention when our rights are taken away.

You're not wrong Mizz Crowley, and I think most countries will look at their economies and say no.
Gordon Brown, however is a spending fool when it comes to other people's money, and might do it anyway, credit crunch or no. For example, Diesel is currently selling for just under US$10 a gallon in the UK, of which 85% is tax, and Brown is still contemplating putting fuel tax up again in the autumn.
The thing about being a redistributionist is, you don't know you're done with redistributing until EVERYONE is poor.

Also as a post-script, in the main part of this item I said (without checking) that Nigeria was surely the most corrupt country in the world. Wrong! it doesn't even make 2007's top 10! Now when you think of the amount of fraud and corruption that exists in Nigeria, that really makes me think.

Regards

I want to make my own position known regarding the state of the world. I support the neotribalist and anarchoprimitivist analysis that the
failure of our cultures is not because human nature has changed or is even at fault, but that its tendency toward
degeneration of its people is due to the effects of stress from our impersonal culture and departure from its original, compatible environment; the tribe.

I agree that the world's population is unsustainable under our present system and its management. I might agree with forced sterilization for those who have repeated births who will become state-supported. I am also support worldwide accelleration of programs for sex education and available, affordable birthcontrol.

I wrote a longer commentary on this piece in my BLOG: http://primalsatanism.blogspot.com/

Thank you for a much needed informative website on social and political issues.
